Description:

Featuring 12,000 feet of display space dedicated to dinosaurs, The Wyoming Dinosaur Center features exhibits on Tyrannosaurus Rex, underwater dinosaurs, and a fascinating display centered on the rare Archaeopteryx - a dinosaur first found in the region around Thermopolis. The museum is located in East Thermopolis, just south of the southern entrance to Hot Springs State Park. The center is built on Warm Springs Ranch, an area renowned for its 60 dinosaur dig sites; visitors to the site can take private vans and tour these amazing areas of discovery.

Open Summer 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Winter 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
